What is the differences between the different
Rate Type Per Unit?
A. Mostly the proximity of the ocean. the units:
#1-#4 are "Beach Front" (Ocean View), units:
#5-#10 are "Palm Court" (Partial Ocean View
overlooking the Jacuzzi). Units: #11,12,13,14,15,17,19,20
are "Key Line Grove" Units and overlook the
Gardens at Cocoplum, & are only a 2 minute walk to
the Beach Front + Pool area. The Tropical Units #16 +
#18 are the exact same size as all the other and overlook
the Tennis Courts. The first Floor contains your own Washer
& Dryer + Storage Area, Layout

How long a Drive from Miami International Airport or Fort
Lauderdale Executive Airport?
A. Allow yourself 2-3 hours to get to Miami International
Airport (110 Miles) or Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
(135Miles).
Rush hour in Miami & Fort
Lauderdale is Between 6:30am-9:30am, and 4:00pm-7:00pm.
During these periods add 1 Hour
of Travel Time.

Do you have boat dockage on site? If not, where's the
closest place?
A. No boat dockage on site. But call Cocoplum
Terraces and ask for Chris 305-743-2002, it is just
across the street and has a ramp (ramp for boats under
22 feet only) and nice docks. Or you can dry dock your
boat on your trailer and park it across the street in
our open lot and use the FREE public boat ramp approximately one
mile from here, on US-1 Bayside between the Quay and the
Island Restaurants.
A. We recommend a Wonderful Marina 1/4 mile away
with Dry and Wet Storage at Shelter Bay Marine. Ask
for Brock. Ramp Service is $10 each way (Free City Ramp
1 Mile away next to the Quay Restaurant) Short Term dockage
on a Floating Dock is .75 Cents per Foot per Day. Open
M-F 8am-5pm, Sat. 8am-12pm, with Marina access 7 days
a week + all hours. Owner/Operator, Brock, lives on site.

How many people per Villa? Bedding
Arrangements?
A. Strict Maximum occupancy is 6 People per Villa.
Master has (sleep 2) Queen bed, Guestroom has a (sleep 1-2) Queen-Size
Bed, and a (1) Twin Bed, & a (sleep 1-2) Queen Size Sleeper
Sofa.
We do not offer any additional rollaways or cots in any villa.

What disposable products do you supply like toilet paper, kleenex tissues, bath soap and dishwasher detergent?
A. As far as disposable items we supply only the following items- toilet paper - Kleenex tissues- trash bags - bath soap, dishwasher detergent and a glass cleaner or all purpose kitchen cleaner. More of these items are available at no charge in the office if you run out during your stay.
We do offer a limited ONE TIME STARTER supply of coffee and tea for 1 pot of coffee, one roll of paper towels - 1 box of detergent for 1 load of laundry, a few creamers and sugar packets for 1 pot of coffee or tea. More of these are available at the front office for an additional charge. But you are better off buying more of those items at the local grocery store.

A. Our lowest Rates are from September until Mid-December.

Can we have guests visit us while we stay at Cocoplum?
A. No! No! No!, we are a quiet small Resort. Our
units are only large enough to handle our occupancy of:
6 People Per Unit. Any extra people in a unit and on the
property over the six (6) people Per Unit deter from
the environment we have at Cocoplum. Any Guests who violated
this strict policy will be asked to leave immediately
and no refund will be given.

Are the Units well equipped?
A. All Units have fully equipped Kitchens
(Yes,...including Blenders). All Bath & Bed Linens
supplied. We DO NOT supply
beach/pool towels.

Is there a daily maid service?
A. No, our units are your "Home away from Home."
We clean the unit at the end of your stay. During
your stay each units have their own laundry room if you
want to freshen up your towels or linens. If you request
additional cleaning there will be a charge of $50 and
you will receive fresh towels and linens. This extra service
must be requested in advance.

How far to Key West?
A. It will take a beautiful one hour to drive to
Key West. Features a Trip over the Famous 7 Mile Bridge.
Go slow on the roads of Deer Key because
the Key Deer is an Endangered Species!

A. No, we do not rent any water sports, etc. Nearest

A. Yes, you can reserve high speed DSL Internet Access in advance of your arrival
date for $10/Day or $50/Week +Tax.

in the Unit?
A. Each Unit has One(1) hair dyer and you may
sign out an Iron at the Front Office for the duration of
your stay.

Q. Is there a Tennis Pro
onsite?
A. No - Our tennis courts are meant for impromptu
games only for Guests. No lessons or pre-planned
matches. We do provide tennis equipment rentals.

Q. Are there DVD/VCR's
available?
A. Each Unit is equipped with one or the other. Come into the office during normal business hours and request the DVD or VCR.

Q. Is there parking
onsite? Are there assigned spaces?
A. Yes - Each Villa is allowed 2 vehicles. Any
additional vehicles will need to get parking locations
from the front office. Parking is a first come, first
serve, close to your Villa. Parking Passes are required.
